The Parishioners are chosen and commissioned by Fr. Thomas Lawson to assist in this Ministry.
Both men and women are invited to serve in this Ministry.

EXTRA ORDINARY MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST

THE ALTAR SOCIETY - DECORATING / FLOWER COMMITTEE

Co-ordinators: Sally Flook, Helen Blanc & Gillian Knaggs

The responsibilities of the Altar Society are to take care of the Sanctuary and the side altars. This entails changing the flowers weekly and ensuring that these are kept as fresh as possible during the week by watering them and removing any wilted flowers and foliage. At present there are fourteen (14) ladies who meet also to discuss and arrange the decorations of God’s House, particularly for Christmas, Easter and special functions. If you like to arrange flowers, please come and share your talent anytime. This task is organized by a weekly schedule.

The Society is not responsible for arranging flowers for weddings, funerals and any other private services.

SACRISTAN

Sacristan: Patricia Grell

The Sacristan prepares the Sanctuary and Sacred Vessels for liturgical celebrations. Washing and cleaning all vessels.

Working in God’s House in the quiet and silent presence of the Holy Eucharist is a wonderful way to spend time praying in the presence of Jesus.
